The fee for issuing an employment permit is 100 euros, the equivalent in lei, to which are added the costs for the translation and legalization of the foreigner's documents (which can vary between 65 and 150 RON). Also, the employer has the obligation to offer the foreigner at least the minimum gross salary per economy, respectively 2550 RON (set for 2022) and 3000 RON for construction. The fee for issuing a long-stay visa for employment or a temporary residence visa for secondment is 120 euros or 160 USD. This will be paid by the foreign citizen in his personal name in the country where the foreigner applies for the visa. The fees for issuing the single permit for employment/residence permit for secondment are: 120 euros (consular fee) and 259 RON (value of the permit).
